Embody awareness: sensing the moment

Embody awareness: sensing the moment

Do you:

  • Eat until you feel uncomfortably full?
  • Eat large amounts of food when you are not hungry?
  • Eat more rapidly than normal?
  • Eat alone due to embarrassment about how much you eat?
  • Feel disgusted, depressed, or guilty after you eat?
  • Struggle with emotional eating?
  • Wish you could just be at peace with food?

If you reply to most of the questions with “yes”, this workshop is for you!

Mindfulness mediation is conceptualized as a way of training attention to promote self-awareness and self-regulation, decrease emotional reactivity and enhancing insight in cognitive and behavioral aspects of human functioning.

Mindful movement is every form of exercise performed with awareness. It does not matter what the movement or activity is; it does not matter how difficult it is. The key factor is training the mind and body in the present moment, so you can succeed both in athletic activities and everyday life. Mindful movement can help you tap into that space beyond your busy mind where you are already calm and clear.

Mindful eating is an important element of creating a new relationship with food and body of nourishment. Mindful eating improving mindfulness reduces emotional stress and increase self-compassion and self-esteem. Mindful eating is not another rule referring to healthy eating. Mindful eating is a great tool which can lead to the inner resources of wisdom, self-love and self-acceptance.

Our half day workshop will give you relaxation, practical knowledge and tools which you can use in everyday life. Through breathing, experiencing and sensing, you can create that space of self-care and nourishment. It’s an invitation to meet yourself and treat yourself  by simply allowing yourself to be in the present moment.

Meditation

Meditation

There are many ways in which to meditate. However, the method you choose may depend on your personality, your needs and time. Nowadays, more and more people familiarise themselves with meditation as a result of life's demands. Meditation could be defined as a practice where the mind can destress and recharge. It can be difficult to manage negative thoughts and stress, which may unfold during a typical, busy day. However, this well-being workshop will give you the ability to clear your mind and think with a more positive perspective. As soon as you meditate, you will find it easier to understand your needs and dreams. So, this invaluable tool will help you to get to know your inner self better. Breathing is the main component in this procedure. As a result, the mind focuses on the breathing procedure and then the ‘magic’ happens.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tension deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using soft touch, we work towards releasing restrictions mainly in the fascia (connective tissue) influencing your craniosacal system. Injuries or any form of trauma can result in tension around the brain and spinal cord, creating a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system, and potentially every other system it interacts with. This therapy will enhance your body's ability to self-correct and essentially normalise the environment around the brain and spinal cord. CranioSacral Therapy can also alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to stroke and neurological impairment.
